1/4 mile sprint series is a
9 round series with only
8 rounds contributing
to the overall
2011 Championship.
Points will be awarded at
each event, which will accumulate toward an
overall 2011 Champion
for each class.
Point are scored as follows:
Class Winners:
10 points 1st place
9 points 2nd place
8 points 3rd place
7 points 4th place
6 points 5th place
5 points 6th place
4 points 7th place
3 points 8th place
2 points 9th place
1 point 10th place
Eliminations:
8 points Winner
7 points Losing Finalist
6 points Fastest Semis Loser
5 points Slowest Semis Loser
A bonus point is awarded each time the class record is progressively broken
Only scoring 8 out of
9 rounds enables riders
who cannot attend all
rounds to still be
competitive.
However, riders who do
attend all rounds
will choose which 8
out of the 9 events
to include in the
2011 Championship.
